Functional MRI Sequences

The characteristics of the tissues determines the contrast and brightness shown in each sequence. There are many techniques to visualise the function of the brain and spinal cord using MRI.

Below is a list of functional sequences routinely employed at Macquarie Medical Imaging. The sequence parameters vary greatly depending on the question the images are used to address.
